8 weeks have passed – what have I done?

I cannot believe it, but already 8 weeks have passed since I started my internship here in Uganda. I have 4 weeks left. It has not been very easy for me to work in a big organization, to be honest. Since I have worked only for small organizations/companies before, everything happening in my host organization was very new for me. Of course, I definitely learned … Continue reading 8 weeks have passed – what have I done?

Jamaica Journal- 2 (technically 2-5)

The first project is researching for non-formal education materials (curriculum, textbooks, or teacher’s guides, and policies among others) for a colleague to support Myanmar’s Department of Alternative Education. … Continue reading Mid-Summer in Bangkok

Amusement

Something that has amused me since my first day in Brazil is that my shower has ‘winter’ and ‘summer’ settings. Yesterday, I was amused to learn the English word elucubration via … Continue reading Amusement

It is hard to believe that I have been here in Gulu for five weeks already and that I head back to Philadelphia in just five more weeks. At this halfway point, I want to give you a couple of updates on what I’ve been up to outside of work and also how my … Continue reading Gratitude in Gulu: Learning and Exploring
