How fortunate for some of us to be in an elective course that has snack every class! Reminds us of our fond memories of Dr. @ameenagk 's 514 class! #penngse #iedp #internationaleducation #internationaldevelopment #snacksforclass

These are some of the pro tips IEDPers decided to share with prospective students on the topic of "things you wish you knew last semester." As assignments, papers and post-spring break blues hit us, I thought these are very relevant to the current cohort in mid-March! #mondaymotivation it is! #penngse #iedp #internationaleducation #internationaldevelopment #protips #selfcare

Last week, Dr. @AmeenaGK had her annual “coffee shop office hours”. She picked the cafes (all* independent coffee shops) and the times each day of last week, and then we got to pick what worked best for our schedules. We then hung out with her for an hour and chatted (she also treated us to coffee/tea). It was a nice way to catch up in a relaxed environment and get off-campus for a bit! Monday: @metropolitanbakery Tuesday: @goodkarmaphilly Wednesday: @greenlinecafe Thursday*: The original spot @unitedbyblue was too crowded so ended up at Joe’s Cafe on campus (probably not independent but we tried!) Friday: Coffee from @milkandhoneymrkt but then enjoyed it in Clark Park since the weather was nice-ish.

Spring is slowly but surely coming to Philly! Make sure to explore the city while at IEDP -- Time flies too quickly and one will regret not having spent much time enjoying the gems of the city.
