The spring semester is over, all assignments are written and graded, the 2nd years, including a few from my cohort, have already graduated. Our last semester was filled with firsts and lasts, and this photo dump will take you on a little memory tour through our spring semester over Valentine’s Day, the Super Bowl, CIES, concerts, half-marathons, Easter, in-class presentations, the spring gala, work sessions, therapy goats, and our end-of-the-year celebration. But first, it is time for my last words on this blog.
It is a time of change. The 2nd years are leaving, pursuing great things all around the world, and I wish them all the best for whatever life has in store for them. And we are spreading as well: Some are going on an internship this summer and are already getting ready to leave for France, South Africa, or Uganda, and many other amazing places. Others are preparing for summer classes or taking time off to spend with their loved ones. Not everyone will return for classes in the fall, so it is already time to say goodbye.
The two semesters we spent as a cohort shaped us all in unique ways, and I am grateful for all the things I learned and gained from IEDP and my cohort. Now we are ready to face the world sooner or later, and as we will be 2nd years very soon, it is also time for me to say farewell to the IEDP Blog and my wonderful GA team. It was my pleasure to take you, my dear reader, through my IEDP year.
Now, we are passing the torch over to next year’s GAs, and I am so excited to follow your journey on the blog, Instagram, and newsletter.
Ana-Carina, over and out. 🙂
